Slimline Mortice Sashlock Installation

ASL Locksmiths attended a commercial property to carry out a very unusual lock fitting to an imported slim line door.

We supplied and fitted a slim-faceplate, short-backset thumbturn deadlock from Deanta. Due to the narrow stiles of this industrial-style door, a super-slim lock case was required to ensure security without compromising the door’s structural integrity or glass panels.

Deadlock to Thumbturn Lock Conversion in Brighton

ASL Locksmiths attended a commercial property to convert a front door’s deadlock to a thumbturn operated lock to attain the fire safety standard.

We replaced the existing Zoo 3G110 key with a BSI, fire-safe Union and APECS thumbturn lock. It was a pretty neat installation. Take a look at the comparison photos of the old lock and the newly-fitted lock.

Door Glass Replacement for a Summerhouse Garden Building in Hove

ASL Locksmiths attended a summerhouse building in Hove to replace a shattered full-size glass door pane.

Upon inspection, the door was boarded up with tape and some covering. To start, we laid out a protective cloth on the floor and carefully removed the broken glass and frame.

Afterwards, we tidied the work area, ensuring that all the shattered glass was disposed of in accordance with our waste disposal policy. We supplied and fitted a British Standards double-glazed glass pane. We left the area safe with a shiny new glass door.

Deadlock Repair and Key Customisation

ASL Locksmiths attended a property that required a faulty deadlock to be replaced and re-levered to match another lock located within the same property.

The lock was housed in a metal casement on the internal side of the door. Because of this unusual mounting, we supplied extra-long keys so the lock can opened externally. Due to the thickness of the door and the lock being mounted internally, standard length keys would not have reached the lock case.
