ASL Locksmiths have been flat out again this week dealing with many different locksmithing jobs, from lockouts, lock upgrades and lock changes following theft of keys.
Another big aspect of the work that we undertake entails uPVC window repairs. We took these photos on one of our jobs this week. We carried out repairs to uPVC windows that were not shutting or locking correctly. The hinges and espags have gone rusty and needed replacement.
An important process is carefully disassembling the windows and setting them safely. We supplied and fitted new full locking espags with new correctly sized hinges, before rehanging the windows and calibrating to ensure that the windows are making a good, tight seal.
