Nightlatch Replacement Work

ASL Locksmiths braved the cold this week to upgrade a customer’s front door lock in Brighton.

The team replaced the client’s old Yale P1 nightlatch with a Yale PBS1 in polished chrome. This new nightlatch is British standard and insurance-approved. As thanks for their efforts, the customer offered the team a warm cup of coffee.

Nightlatch Front Door Lock Change in Brighton

ASL Locksmiths were called out to a property in Brighton for a front door lock change. To upgrade the building’s security, we installed the latest Banham High-Security Nightlatch and Deadlock.

The Banham high-security nightlatch is designed for inward opening doors and is hence perfect for front doors. This self-deadlocking rim nightlatch has a Banham unique key registration system and features:

  • Saw-resistant steel bolt
  • 6-pin drill resistant cylinder
  • Patent protection

It is also insurance-approved and meets British Standard 3621, ensuring protection from theft and forced entry.
