Upon inspection, the door was boarded up with tape and some covering. To start, we laid out a protective cloth on the floor and carefully removed the broken glass and frame.
Afterwards, we tidied the work area, ensuring that all the shattered glass was disposed of in accordance with our waste disposal policy. We supplied and fitted a British Standards double-glazed glass pane. We left the area safe with a shiny new glass door.

The lock was housed in a metal casement on the internal side of the door. Because of this unusual mounting, we supplied extra-long keys so the lock can opened externally. Due to the thickness of the door and the lock being mounted internally, standard length keys would not have reached the lock case.

ASL Locksmiths were called for an emergency repair of a property’s UPVC window hinge. The hinge had buckled, making it impossible to open and close the window properly.
We removed the window pane and carefully set it with a protective cloth. Our client offered us a lovely cup of coffee and after our quick break, we fitted new egress hinges that conform to fire regulations for the property type.
The new hinges have a green button indicating a fire exit to use in the event of an emergency.
